About Brushed Aluminum 0.5.3.0 for iTunes 10.6.0.40
I really miss the brushed aluminum look that iTunes 4.X used to have (and probably previous versions too), and it's a shame nobody made a theme/skin for us who likes it, so I thought about doing it myself for a long time, and here it is. It is a very subtle modification of the original iTunes though, not a complete overhaul in any way. Just a subtle brushed look, and slightly adjusted highlighting of the searchbar (when you click/activate it). I wouldn't have got very far without help, so I will have to give some credits for Davi-1 here!
Instructions & how to use
1) First; download the file. 2) Extract the .RAR file 3) Copy the folder (iTunes.Resources) 4) Paste into your iTunes installation folder 5) When asking to merge/overwrite, answer "yes to all". 6) You're all set!

Oh, actually I didn't know if it worked for the latest version of iTunes ALSO! Everytime Apple releases a new version it usually breaks the compatibility with external themes.
I got the tip from Davi-1 on how to edit the iTunes theme. The software being used to do this is Resource Editor, by Anders Melander. The creation of graphics is done in Photoshop. Hope that helps.
Would you like to have the original buttons back? Because I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Aqua inspired buttons. This "theme" has been very experimental, and still is, so I might change to the original buttons soon, perhaps in the next version. But if you can't wait for it, I can send you a modded DLL file right away.
I love it! How do you make this? Is there any kind of editor out there? I'd like to try to make a design myself.

Men okej! tack för svaret. Vi syns i msn
Snacka om att vara anpassningsbart. Det är nästan frestande att byta.
